Having your compost bin on your counter makes it much easier to remember to actually use it Love this bin, have already recommended it to several friends. Not only is it a perfect size for your counter top, it has a beautiful, simple design. It's not obviously a compost bin sitting on your counter which I love. The bag fits inside perfectly and the lid clicks into place to ensure the bag won't slip. And most importantly... the FILTER! Even after a few days, you could smell NOTHING! its amazing and I'm so glad I made this purchase. Healthnut shop never disappoints

I live in Quebec, where the government has given most households a city compost bin. Unfortunately while that bin is a little larger than this one, it's terrible! Compost bags fall in, and the bin itself gets very slimy. To boot, there's no real convenient place for it. However, this compost bin from HealthNut was a perfect addition and replacement. It's conveniently sized but definitely feels sturdy (the metal handle is a nice touch), and you can keep it on your counter while prepping food so as not to have to wait to throw things in the compost. My favourite feature is how it lets you tuck the bag in before adding the lid. Keeps everything neat and tidy, not to mention no slime! Have and would recommend.
